Directed by Siddh Sachdev, Dhabhutani is a horror comedy inspired by college stories and ghost stories. Set in a strangely fictional university tradition – based on the worship of a virgin tree in a Hindu college in Delhi – the story begins with Shantanu (Sni), a disappointed man whose girlfriend leaves him before Valentine’s Day. Depressed, he prays to a tree that grants true love.

To his surprise, Suseo is ready, but not as expected. Enter Mohabbat, a ghost (played by Mouni Roy), who appears to bring him love. But he is not the typical romantic hero: he has powers, a mysterious atmosphere and a lot of drama.

This street-movie-like horror comedy presents the usual clichés: a ghost with ulterior motives, a group of goofy friends and lots of funny dialogues. Additionally, Mouni also makes a humorous appearance in her popular show “Naagin”, with a character jokingly saying: “It looks like she just left the set of Naagin!”.

Overall, “Bhoot” combines humor, suspense, and romance in a way that is both entertaining and entertaining, perfect for fans of Indian-style supernatural comedies.

Plot

Set in a college, the film depicts the strange happenings that happen around the festival of Holi, a festival called “Virgin Tree”, which hides a strange truth. The film depicts the strange happenings that happen around the festival of Holi in a spooky way. Some students start committing suicide for no apparent reason, and soon people start talking about ghosts. The college staff ignores these stories, so a modern tantric played by Sanjay Dutt comes to investigate. In the midst of all this, a ghost starts haunting the main character (played by Sunny Singh). Who is this ghost? What is he looking for? The film slowly shares the answers in its own crazy and entertaining way.

The Bhootnii Film Story, Review, Hit or Flop

Review

Filmmaker Karan Johar once showed us a college full of style, looks and more style – where no one cared about studying. Bhoot also shows such a college, but it seems to be a cheaper version. There is not much fashion here either, and again, no one is interested in classes. Students spend their time planting saplings, painting walls, praying to the “virgin tree” and wishing for the stars to fall.

Some students start dying by committing suicide, but no one reports it or starts an investigation. So, the college brings in a ghost catcher. Director Siddhant Sachdev brings in a fresh idea, but his direction and Vankush Arora’s weak script give the film no clear path – it is neither scary nor funny.

In one scene, Sanjay Dutt asks the ghosts how they feel. One replies that it feels like he is watching a live Naagin shooting. That sentence sums up the film. Still, some funny dialogues pop up here and there. But Amar Mohile’s background music doesn’t give the strong feel expected in a horror film.
